It may be one of the more awesome or dumb things I have done in a long time. They have a top speed of 70 and I will be driving half way across the country and back.

I wish. I have contemplated leaving it with family in MN and nonreving home. Either putting a for sale sign on it there or driving it home later.

Probably both awesome and dumb. That's a proper vehicle for a road trip. No telling in what podunk town you'll be stuck in for three weeks waiting for parts.
